I am a Folk Artist, a painter and a wood carver. My artwork has been described as untrained,naive,primitive,and traditional. However, I like to describe myself as "self taught" About my carvings and game boards. I have always been drawn to things that show signs of wear, things with history, things that have a story behind them. As an artist - my goal is to produce quality art that will survive and please long after I am gone, and to create every piece as though it had been handed down from another period of time. |
